The YPDP is seeking application from qualified inspiring youth with dedicated skillful communications officer to join our team to provide his/her service for the promotion of African youth career development through ambassadorial services. He/she will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.


  • Collaborate with the head of secretariat develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.
  • Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
  • Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
  • Proficiency in design and publishing software.
  • Manage conflict as it arises and escalate to management.

  • Undergraduate degree or it equevalent
  • A Liberian citizen living in Monrovia
  • Preferably a female candidate
  • Passionate about using his/her skills to make positive impact in his/her community.
  • Track record in youth advocacy related programs
  • Can demonstrate leadership and collaborative skills with people.
  • Can demonstrate creativity, innovation and self-direction.
  • Ability to travel to YPDP operational areas
  • Excellent english language writing and reading skills
  • Able to apply good judgment and act with high standards of ethics and integrity.
